You will need: Crescent rolls jam, jelly, canned fruit, pumpkin- any type of filling baking sheet egg milk powdered sugar nuts and spices (if you like) First set your oven to 375 degrees. Pop open those crescent rolls and lay out the entire sheet on to a baking sheet. Stretch out the square dough. No need to greece the pan since the crescent rolls have butter in them. You can pick your favorite fruit or jam flavor to lay in the middle of the square. Marie Louise chooses canned apple slices and lays them right down the center of the square. You can add nuts or another flavor. Have fun with it! Marie Louise then shows us an easy but fancy braid. Make slices in the square on either side of the dough towards the filling. Then over lap the flaps on top of the filling. Marie Louise also adds an egg wash- simply brush the white of an egg over the top to make the treat golden brown and flakey. Marie also adds some nuts on top. Pop in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, until golden. While cooking and cooling you can make a glaze out of powdered sugar and milk.
