Place balls onto a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 9 to 13 minutes or until golden brown and done.

Serving Suggestions: Serve rolls slightly warm with a pat of butter, honey butter, jam or fruit preserves.

Separate cans of dough into 4 long rectangles. In GREASED 15x10x1 pan or cookie sheet place dough, press in bottom and up sides to form crust Bake 13-17 minutes or until golden brown. COOL completely, about 20 minutes In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, dill and garlic powder until smooth and fluffy. Spread over crust. Top with veggies. Serve immediately or cove and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving. Cut into small squares, cut each square in half diagonally to make triangles. I grew up camping with my family regularly. We pulled a camping trailer and loved the convenience to set up camp swiftly and carry the basics with us. Now that I have a family of my own I try to make it a memory for us as well. We live in Washington state and the state parks are wonderful. Our favorite, placed on the north end of Whidbey Island is Deception Pass State Park. It is lovely with some waterfront spaces, and remarkable facilities. We love to go there. Again I like to put in order in enlarge the dinner for our first night.

I regularly start a flank steak marinating before we leave and by the time we travel, arrive, setup camp and get the fire going, the steaks is marinated and the dinner is wonderful, tender, succulent, flavorful steak. If you have time before hand, it's great to parboil some small potatoes until they are approximately done. Then at dinner time, roll them in olive oil and salt and pepper and put them on skewers to grill up, deliciously, with crispy, grill marked skin. I regularly plan a bagged salad to round out the meal and then go in for a grilled dessert.

Have you ever roasted bananas on the campfire? They're delicious. Wrap them in foil sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon. Heat until warmed straight through and serve with a spoon to be eaten right from the foil.

For a great camping breakfast, think packing some crescent rolls and jam. Wrap the rolls around a roasting stick, leaving an occasion at the top (we'll fill that with jam later). Let each person toast their roll over the fire until golden brown exterior and cooked through. Thought about take it off the stick or eat it off the stick if your brave. Fill the occasion at the top with jam or jelly and eat while they're hot.

Campfire Grilled Flank Steak

We always plan this for the first night camping. It is marinating on the way and cooks in a flash once we get the fire going.

Ingredients

2 lb Flank steak
1/4 C Soy sauce
1/4 C Worcestershire sauce
1/4 C Water
2 Tb Rosemary - fresh, minced

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a zip lock bag and marinate overnight or all day. Grill 4 to 5 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness. Cover and rest 10 minutes, then slice in thin slices across the grain in the bias.

Grilled Rosemary Potatoes

The potatoes are parboiled to give them a head start, then rolled in olive oil, salt and rosemary and terminated on the grill. The skins are crispu and delicious.

Serves 4

Ingredients

1 lb Red potatoes - small
2 Tb Olive oil
Sea salt
1 Tb Rosemary - fresh, minced

Instructions

In a large pot of boiling salted water cook the potatoes until just slightly under done. Drain, then drizzle with olive oil, salt and rosemary. Toss to coat. Thread on metal skewers is desired. Grill turning regularly, until crispy and done.

FRENCH APPLE CRESCENTS - one (1) can of Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls - one (1) Granny Smith apple - half-stick of salted butter - 1/2 cup of granulated sugar - one-to-two teaspoons of cinnamon - 1/2 cup of whipping cream - one (1) teaspoon of vanilla - one (1) whole egg Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Separate crescent roll dough, and lay flat on waxed paper. Mix cinnamon, and sugar together; sprinkle over each triangle. Peel apple; slice into eight pieces. Next, locate one slice of apple per triangle of dough on widest end. Then, place one-half Tablespoon of butter on each triangle. Roll triangles until apple pieces, and butter slices are mostly covered. Then, evenly place each crescent roll into a 9-inch x 11-inch baking dish, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, and pour topping (whipping cream, sugar, egg, and vanilla mixture) over the rolls. Place the dish back in the oven for an additional 25 minutes. Serve rolls warm; garnish with additional apple slices for added color.

1 tbsp Corn Oil Crystal
1 tbsp Lemon Juice, or vinegar
1 Pizza Dough
10 leaves Lettuce
2 tbsp Salad Dressing, Caesar
2 Chicken Breasts
1/4 cup Black Olives, seeds removed
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 tsp Thyme, or oregano, dried and crushed

Salt and Pepper

Directions
Marinate chicken with oil, thyme, salt, pepper and vinegar or lemon juice. Grill chicken breasts on the grill until tender. Get chicken diagonally into 1 cm thin strips. Set aside. Roll dough on a slightly floured surface. Spread dough to cover a 30 cm diameter baking sheet or pizza pan or its equivalent rectangular baking sheet. Add chicken strips and olives. Sprinkle mozzarella and 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese. Heat oven to 220-240 C. Bake pizza in oven for 10-15 minutes. Get out of oven./li> Cut lettuce into strips. Mix wit Caesar dressing in a bowl. Add over pizza face and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

1. Heat oven to 375.

2. If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; isolate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles.

3. With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Slice cheese slices into quarters (1/2 slice cheese, cut in half).

4. Wrap 4 pieces of dough nearby each hot dog and 1/4 slice of cheese to look like "bandages," stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. About 1/2 inch from one end of each hot dog, isolate "bandages" so hot dog shows through for "face." On a non greased large cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs (cheese side down); spray dough lightly with cooking spray.

5. Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on "face."

• 1/2 pound cheddar or Jack cheese, grated
• 16 oz. Cottage cheese, creamed
• 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 4 eggs
• 1 holder freezing chopped spinach, thawed
• 6 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• Grated nutmeg (optional)

Directions
Mix all ingredients except nutmeg. Pour into pie pan. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake uncovered for one hour at 350 degrees.
